Welcome! Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Sigma Kappa.

Applications are currently available for the 2025 -2026 Advisory Board Supervisor role. 
    • If you are interested in being appointed for an Advisory Board Supervisor role for 2025 - 2026, please submit your information here: 2025 - 2026 ABS Appointment Interest 
      • All existing Advisory Board Supervisors must go through the re-appointment process  
      • All alumnae members of Sigma Kappa are eligible to serve as Advisory Board Supervisors (Sigma Kappa volunteer experience is not necessary to apply)
    • Once interest is submitted, a Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator will connect with you to set up an interview.  Interviews will take place between October 16th and December 2nd. 
    • Appointments are made by National Council and will be effective January 1st, 2025 through December 31st, 2026

Applications for national volunteer positions are currently closed. The typical process is outlined below.

  • Interest forms will open in September. 
  • All interest forms will be reviewed by Sigma Kappa’s Personnel Committee.  
  • After all forms have been reviewed, staff will be in touch to schedule interviews. Please note, it may take several weeks to be notified about your interview. 
  • All coordinator, advisory council, committee members and editorial board members will require an interview. 
  • Interviews take place throughout October and November. 
  • If you are interested in more than one position, you will only need to participate in ONE interview. It will be recorded and can be reviewed by the Personnel Committee to appoint multiple roles, teams, etc.   
  • National council will review recommendations made by the Personnel Committee, vote on the appointments and all applicants will be notified before the end of December. Please note, you may not hear back after your interview regarding your appointment status until this date.
